Question 1

Is there a subscription fee, or do I have to renew?

Accepted Answer

No. Sharpline is a one-time purchase of $17. There is no subscription, no annual renewal, and no recurring charge of any kind. You pay once and the app is yours.

Question 2

What device or browser do I need?

Accepted Answer

Any modern smartphone, tablet, or desktop computer with a current web browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge all work. There is nothing to download from an app store. You tap a link, the app opens, and you're in. No account setup, no login.

Question 3

What happens to my Effort Line if I change phones or clear my browser data?

Accepted Answer

Your session history and Effort Line live on the device you use — they're stored locally, not backed up to a server or synced across devices. If you clear your browser's site data or move to a new device, your history won't carry over. That's the trade-off for an app that needs no account and shares none of your data with anyone. For most people who build a consistent daily habit on one device, this is never a problem in practice.

Question 4

Is this suitable for someone with a memory diagnosis or an active cognitive concern?

Accepted Answer

Sharpline is a cognitive wellness tool designed for generally healthy adults who want to maintain mental engagement — it is not appropriate as a substitute for professional evaluation, diagnosis, or care. If you or someone you care about has a confirmed or suspected memory condition, please consult a qualified healthcare professional before using this or any wellness tool.

Question 5

I tried Lumosity and found it repetitive. How is Sharpline different?

Accepted Answer

The difference is structural. Lumosity's sessions stay at roughly the same difficulty because their business model rewards engagement time, not effort increase. Sharpline only escalates your challenge level when your own session data shows you're ready — so the difficulty moves with you rather than cycling through the same content in rotation.

Question 6

Will this improve my memory or cognitive function?

Accepted Answer

Sharpline tracks whether your daily cognitive effort level is measurably increasing over time — it doesn't measure or claim to improve memory, cognition, or any clinical outcome. What it delivers is a concrete, personal record of escalating challenge. For questions about what that means for your long-term cognitive health, your doctor is the right person to ask.

Question 7

How long does a daily session take?

Accepted Answer

Most sessions run 4 to 8 minutes. The app is designed for a mid-morning window — long enough to register real effort, short enough to fit into a daily routine without scheduling around it.

Question 8

Is my data sent anywhere or shared with anyone?

Accepted Answer

No. All session data is stored locally on your device. There is no account, no server, no analytics platform. No one — including the product creator — can see your Effort Line or session history.

Question 9

What if I miss a day?

Accepted Answer

Your Effort Line and full session history remain intact. Missing a day resets your consecutive-day streak counter, but it does not delete or alter your progress record. Your baseline and every completed session stay exactly where they were.

Question 10

What is your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

Sharpline comes with a 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee — no questions asked. If it's not right for you, request a refund within 7 days of purchase and you'll get it, no explanation needed.
